The Reimagination Hub
While Sierra Leone has a growing base of motivated young people, digital tools, and emerging mentorship networks, the system currently lacks structured support for transforming ideas into validated, scalable solutions. Many aspiring innovators have promising concepts but struggle with accessing mentorship, technical guidance, seed funding, and practical experience to develop prototypes or test product-market fit.
Existing programs often focus on tested ideas or provide fragmented support, leaving untested ideas or early-stage innovators without a clear pathway to move from ideation to tangible solutions.
There is also limited integration of a human-centered design and sustainability-focused approaches. This means many solutions fail to address the real needs of communities or achieve long-term impact.
Our solution to these problems is the introduction of the Reimagination Hub, a three-month structured program that combines mentorship and problems solving support within a cohesive design thinking framework.
By 2030, the Reimagination Hub aims to empower 100 young innovators between the ages of 15-35 to co-design solutions that address sustainability challenges.
By doing so, the Hub will create a clear pipeline for young innovators to turn ideas into viable products or services that address social, environmental, and economic challenges in Sierra Leone.
